Thermo-Hydrometer Review (iOS)

thermo-hydrometer_iconThis is going to be a quick review for you weather obsessed readers out there. I found this app the other day called Thermo-Hydrometer by morethan Apps when it was free so I decided to give it a download and check it out. It’s a pretty nifty app that exactly 4 things. It shows your the outside temperature, humidity, air pressure and THI of current location.

What’s great about this app is that there is very little clutter. By separating these 4 elements onto different tabs, you’re able to clearly able to read each reading with little distraction. Graphically the app looks terrific and has one of the cleanest layouts and designs I’ve seen. If you turn your device to landscape profile, it will show you just the temperature and hydrometer.

The app only shows you the information for your current area so you will need to enable location settings for it. It also only updates the information when you open the app. What I like about this is that it’s not pulling data in the background like some other apps do. I don’t check the temperature often so it’s fine that it only pulls that info when needed.

Overall, Thermo-Hydrometer is a very well made, temperature app. I really like the look of the app and how it gives you what’s probably the only information most people need. I know for me, I don’t need anything fancy so this app gets the job done for my needs. Other may need something more detailed or something with multiple city readings at once, but I like this app just the way it is.
