If there’s one game out there that probably has just as many clones and variations as the game Flappy Birds and all its clones, it’s probably that of 2048, which in itself is a clone of the games Threes. While there are games out there that are straight up clones, some games try to differentiate themselves either by slight gameplay differences or by changing up the graphics. One such game is Edge Up 3072. The main premise of the game is try and create the number 3072 or more by combining like numbered shapes together, doubling their sum and ultimately forming the higher number.

This game is very much like Threes and 2048. It seems like the same concept, but I think the art style in this game is much prettier and nicer looking. Also the actual gameplay itself is a tiny bit different too in which you combine numbers. The game consists of sliding colored shapes with numbers in them. Slide like numbered shaped to combine them to form a new number and shape. The difference here is that you don’t slide one space at a time. Instead you slide all the way to the end unless another shape is blocking you. This changes the gameplay quite a bit but still remains quite challenging.

Edge Up 3072 is actually a pretty fun, challenging game. Yes it’s a bit like Threes and 2048, but I think the gameplay is just different enough where it won’t feel like you’re playing the same exact game.
