This isn’t the first time I’ve reviewed Tennis in the Face, by 10tons, but this is the first time reviewing it for iOS. The game itself is pretty much the same as it is on PS4, except that on the iPhone, you use the touchscreen to aim your ball and make shots. This completely changes the way the game plays and I’ll explain why later.
I won’t get into too much detail about the game as it’s exactly the same as the PS4 version. If you want to read what I thought about the game, you can check out the review here. Basically, it’s a fun game that’s similar to Angry Birds, but with a totally wacky theme. The only difference between this version and the PS4 version is the control scheme. The iPhone version allows you to use the touchscreen which in my opinion, makes aiming the ball a lot more accurate than using a controller.
If you already own this game on PS4, it might now make sense to spend money on it again as it is the same game, but if you don’t already have it, I’d give it a shot. It’s cheaper on iOS and with this version of the game, you can take it with you where ever you go and crank out a few levels when you have the time.
