Hatoful Boyfriend: Holiday Star Launch Trailer – It’s Weird, and Festive [Video]

There’s a new launch trailer out for Hatoful Boyfriend: Holiday Star  that made my head explode. Singing pigeons?? What? I’ve seen people talk about Hatoful Boyfriend on my Twitter feed, but I’ve never quite understood what the game was about or why I should be playing it. As far as I could tell, it’s a text-driven visual novel similar to a choose-your-own adventure type game with a bit of dating simulator mixed in? I don’t even know. It was just too weird for my head to wrap around and this trailer makes it even weirder. What that means is that I should probably go check it out.

Hatoful Boyfriend: Holiday Star is available now on PC, Mac, and Linux via Steam, GOG, and Humble and will be available on PlayStation 4 and PlayStation Vita December 22.
