iClever BoostCube 4-Port USB Wall Charger Review

This is going to be a quick review for an item that everyone has in some form or another, but you’re most likely going to want to replace what you have with this. What I’m talking about are wall chargers. Pretty much every device we buy comes with a wall charger in various different shapes and sizes. Some are small, some are large but most only allow for the charging of one device at a time. On the plus side, most of these wall charges are interchangeable between different devices, meaning your wall charger from your iPhone can possible also charge that Android tablet you have given that you have the right cable to plug in.

Anyways, back to wall chargers, if you have multiple devices that need charging at the same time, you would usually need to bring multiple wall chargers with you. I know that on trips, I usually have to charge 2-3 devices at night while I sleep which means I have to carry 2-3 wall chargers too, not to mention what my wife needs or what my kids need. That means I end up having to bring quite a bit with me just to charge my devices. While that’s just an inconvenience, the real problem comes when we don’t have enough wall outlets to accommodate all our wall chargers.

Well there’s an easy fix for that. I was sent the iClever BoostCube 4-Port USB Wall Charger the other day to try out and let me tell you what a very convenient thing this is. Basically this wall charger is about the size of an iPad wall charger but instead of having just 1-USB port, it has four. That means this one wall charger can take the place of four wall chargers meaning I no longer have to carry as much as I did. I only have to carry one wall charger now and whatever cables I need for my devices. That saves me a ton of space. Not only that, I only have to take up one plug in a wall outlet for four devices so my other family members can use the others.

This quadruples the number of charging ports you can have. For example, I went on a cruise a few months back with my family and was shocked to learn that our cabin only had one plug we could use to charge all our device. ONE!! We all had to take turns charging our many devices and needless to say, if I had the iClever BoostCube 4-Port USB Wall Charger, I wouldn’t have had this problem.

Aside from the practicality of this device, it also doesn’t look half bad. It shiny white and sorta looks like an Apple charger. The prongs in the back can fold in to make it more portable and up front it has all four USB ports. What’s neat here are that the USB ports light up when plugged in so you can see them better in low-light situations. It even has somethin called SmartID Technology that recognizes the electronic device and maximizes charging efficiency.

If you’re looking to scale down the amount of gear you’re carrying while also maximizing that number of devices you can charge, I recommend getting something like the iClever BoostCube 4-Port USB Wall Charger. You can actually pick one up on Amazon for pretty cheap at only $19.99.
