Apple announced three new iPhone models today to coincide with two more affordable models, the iPhone XR and iPhone 8. These will be the iPhone 11, and two different sized iPhone 11 Pro models. The iPhone 11 is similar to what the iPhone XR was last year but with improvements.
The iPhone 11 sees a new two camera system that is able to capture 4K video at 60 fps. One of the cameras has an ultra-wide lens while both can shoot in the new Night mode. In fact, a lot of the updates are camera related. The iPhone 11 is also water-proof, up to 2-meters, has a new Liquid Retina display, and it’s 6 available colors. The iPhone 11 starts at $699.
The iPhone 11 Pro is where all the power users want to be. This features a new three camera system with a 13mm ultra wide lens, 26mm wide lens, and a 52mm telephoto lens. This also includes Nite mode, 4K video recording, Portrait modes, and Smart HDR.The front camera has also been upgraded and can now do slow-motion as well. Apple calls this a “slofie”. iPHone 11 Pro display has also been upgrade to a new Super Retina XDR display using an OLED screen instead of the iPhone 11’s LCD type. iPhone 11 Pro is also faster, has a new Machine Learning chip, and larger batteries. It comes in two different sizes and 4 different colors. iPhone 11 Pro starts at $999.
