After years of holding out, Minecraft on the PlayStation 4 is finally get Crossplay with other platforms. This is thanks to the Bedrock update that is coming December 10, 2019. In case you’re wondering, “the Bedrock version of Minecraft is the unified version of the game that offers the same experience across all consoles. All that glorious, unified code means that you’ll be playing the same game as your pals on Xbox One, Nintendo Switch, Windows 10, and mobile.” So finally, you’ll be able to play with others, not just PS4 players.
On top of that, we’ll finally get access to the Minecraft Marketplace.
This is a free update to version 1.14 of the software.
