10 Second Ninja X is now on Nintendo Switch, but had been released several years back on other platforms. Published by Thalamus Digital and developed by Four Circle Interactive, 10 Second Ninja X is game about speed and precision. It’s an action/puzzle game that will test your skill, reflexes, and your patience. This is not a game for the faint of heart nor is it a game for quitters.
The nefarious Captain Greatbeard has kidnapped you and trapped your forest friends inside of his army of robots like some kind of psychopath. Greatbeard doesn’t think you’re the fastest ninja who ever lived. Destroy all of Greatbeard’s robots in each level in ten seconds or less. Be fast enough to get the coveted three-star rating in each. Fight through 100 levels, explore Greatbeard’s airship, discover secrets, and climb the leaderboards to become the best.
The best way to play 10 Second Ninja X is to plan your moves in advance. The timer doesn’t start until you move. Also just keep trying, regardless of how many times you fail. Even on levels that you pass, you don’t really pass until you earn the almost impossible 3-star achievement. Each millisecond counts so whatever you can shave from your time brings you one step closer to that goal. Don’t be afraid to restart when you mess up as it’ll take an almost perfect run to get those 3-stars.
First time players may grow increasingly frustrated the further they get into the game and some may even give up after their first 10 minutes. It can be that difficult.
So with that said, 10 Second Ninja X is for those who love a challenge and don’t mind being punished over and over again. The Nintendo Switch version is a faithful port with the added bonus of being portable. That makes this version the best version of the game.
Received game from developer and/or publisher for coverage purposes.
