You may have noticed the trend now where instead of the tiny mousepads people used to use, we’re now seeing huge mouse pads that span the length of a table. Some can even cover an entire desk. However, we’re not looking that the super large desk engulfing mousepads today. We’re looking at the SteelSeries QcK Prism Cloth Gaming Mousepad in XL. These have been around for quite some time now, but what makes this one special is that it’s a Limited Edition Destiny 2: Lightfall version of the QcK Prism Cloth Gaming Mousepad, made exclusively for the release of Destiny 2: Lightfall.
The SteelSeries Destiny 2 Lightfall Edition QcK Prism Cloth Gaming Mousepad is a whopping 900 mm x 300 mm x 4 mm mousepad with two-zone dynamic RGB illumination and an exclusive Destiny 2: Lightfall design. The graphic is very vibrant and detailed and captures the mystique of the Destiny series. The under part of the mousepad is very grippy and doesn’t move around at all while the top is very smooth and works really well with my SteelSeries Aerox 5.
In terms of the lighting, it’s two-zone so that means you can have two different colored RGBs on at the same time, however since most of my whole setup is one color, I just made them both one color. I will say that the lighting is very even throughout the entire border. You will need to download the SteelSeries GG app to make the most of it, but if you already have other SteelSeries gear, then you’re pretty much good to go and just need to plug it in.
Other than that, there’s little more to say about the SteelSeries Destiny 2 Lightfall Edition QcK Prism Cloth Gaming Mousepad. It’s a beautifully designed mousepad that does what it’s supposed to do. All I have to say about it is that it looks great with all my other SteelSeries gear and integrates well with my lighting setup.
