Knuckle Creek is a new arena-brawling party game from Claymatic Games, the Sheffield studio behind the stop-motion shmup Platypus Reclayed. It brings that same handmade clay look to a very different kind of game: a comedy brawler where you smack your way through the
countryside, solo or with friends.
The look is built from a mix of clay animation, scanned clay models, and 3D modelling, which gives the whole game a crafted, tactile feel. The design is meant to be easy to pick up but hard to master, so players of different skill levels can enjoy it together.
- Solo campaign:Dozens of varied, bite-sized stages, including playing Hot Dog Man fending off hungry crows, a local vampire facing pitchfork-wielding townsfolk, and champion boxer Apollo Crude taking on the Karate Club. Friends leaderboards and star ratings for every stage let you compete for the fastest times.
- Cosmetics: Hundreds of unlockable items — hats, jackets, shoes, hair, and more — earned by finishing stages and hitting star times. Mix and match to make anything from a bumpkin to a disco dude, plus robots, pirates, monsters, and more, all in clay detail.
- Extra solo modes: Random and Endless Challenges for more leaderboard competition and more cosmetics to unlock.
- Multiplayer: Up to 8 players in local and online play, including bot support, team skirmishes, and private online matches, with extensive match settings you can customize or jump straight into.
- Party chaos:** Taunt opponents, then hit them with a fish, a can of beans, a live chicken, or just a well-placed fist or foot. Even eliminated players can lay traps from the sidelines.
- Soundtrack: A bluegrass and blues inspired soundtrack.
