Daedalic Entertainment and Three Headed Monkey Studios have released a free demo for Ghost Haunting, a 2D point-and-click adventure that channels the LucasArts classics with hand-crafted pixel art, dark humor, and a young heroine who has strong opinions about locked doors. – The premise: When Gigi discovers her grumpy grandpa Giovanni is a legendary ghost hunter, she reaches a perfectly reasonable conclusion — if ghosts can visit the living, she can visit the dead and bring Grandma home. A talking pumpkin demon called Baron Butt(er)nut is willing to help. Getting Grandpa’s permission is not currently a priority.

• Classic adventure, modern comforts: The full game pairs classic puzzles with a hint system, a score system, hotspot highlighting, and fast travel.
• Voices and text: The demo features English and German voice acting, with text in 12 languages.
