Jean’s Boutique Deluxe is a time management game from developer AFEEL. In the game, players must manage a clothing store boutique and keep customers happy while doing so. If you’ve played games like Diner Dash or any of the other Dash games, Jean’s Boutique Deluxe is very similar. You have to keep customers happy by tending to their every needs, otherwise they become very unhappy and ultimately leave you store without making a purchase. In the world of retail, that’s a big no no, so you must do everything in your power to satisfy them.

First off, yes, Jean’s Boutique Deluxe has a very feminine feel to it. More than likely it is geared more towards girls with it’s theme and characters, but in all honestly I had a good time playing it. Jean’s Boutique is broken up into different levels. Each level signifies a full work day. It’s your job to attend to all the customers who walk in. You have to take their measurements, help them make clothing decisions, help them dress, and then help them pay for and gift wrap their purchases.  As you play, you’ll earn money that you can use to upgrade your boutique so that it can accommodate more customers. This of course is a double edged sword because with more customers mean you’ll have to manage more of them at once. It sounds easy at first, but with multiple customers at any given time, Jean’s Boutique Deluxe can get very hectic and very challenging as you try to juggle all the customers while still keeping them happy.

To keep customers happy, you have to make the correct choices. You need to guess their correct measurements, choose clothes that appeal to them, and make sure you wrap up their purchases correctly. On top of that, you have to make sure you are quick to cater to your customers demands otherwise they grow unhappy quickly and they’ll walk out of your store.

Graphically, the game is pretty decent. It’s very colorful, has great character designs, and the art is really nice and polished. Music in the game is really nice too and matches the game nicely. Control wise, its very responsive to your taps and I never felt like it didn’t want to do what I was telling it to do.

With 40 stages, Jean’s Boutique Deluxe will keep you buys for a while. If you happen to finish all 40 stages, endless mode will unlock for you to play. The game is geared more towards girls, but even still, it’s a fun game that I think anyone can really enjoy.
