Star Wars will always hold a special place in my life. It was released on the year I was born and I remember watching all of the original trilogy as a child over and over again. The original movies are one of the few movies I never tire of watching and even now, I would consider myself a pretty big fan. Now that I have kids, I’m glad to see that for at least one of them, his lover for Star Wars is as big as mine.
Recently my family and I went to Star Wars Weekend up at Disney’s Hollywood Studios in Orlando and I’ll have to say it was one of our funnest outings to Disney. We got to see a bunch of Star Wars characters walking around and even got to take a lot of photos with them. My son even participated in the Jedi Training Academy show and got to do battle with Darth Vader himself! How cool is that???
These are the memories I will always cherish and I’m really glad that Star Wars has always been a pretty big part of those memories growing up.
Happy 35th Anniversary Star Wars!
Image information – I shot that image using a FujiFilm FinePix HS30EXR and then did a bit of post processing in Adobe Lightroom 4. This was during my son’s Jedi Training Academy session right before doing battle with him. If you’re going to use this image, please don’t remove the watermark. If you would like to buy a print of this, shoot me an email and we can work something out.
