Prep3d is a Hello Kitty themed educational game from Beta Software Technologies and Magical Books. In the game, which is completely in 3D, children will need to wander around Hello Kitty’s garden in search of fruits and vegetables. They’ll run through the garden while jumping around to collect different fruits and vegetables in a given amount of time. When time runs out, there will be a little quiz at the end of the round. The names of each object found will be listed with letters missing from it. They’ll need to complete the missing letters for bonus points that will allow them to move on to the next round.

The controls for Prep3d are very easy for children to pick up. Tilt the screen left or right to move Hello Kitty in that direction. Single tapping the jump button will make her jump while double tapping the jump button will make her jump higher. Tap the fly button at the height of her jump to make her fly around at the same height.

As Hello Kitty runs around the garden, players will need to collect fruits and vegetables and learn about them as they are collected. As they collect these these objects, the name of each will be displayed on the screen as well as read aloud by the narrator. This allows children to not only see how these objects are spelled but how they sound as well. At the end of each level, they are presented with a series of words of all the objects collected with letters missing in each one. Fill in the missing letters and if they get them correct, they’ll get bonus points.

Prep3d is a fun little educational title and the added bonus of it being Hello Kitty licensed should make it more appealing towards children. The repetitive nature of the game means they will be able to learn new words quickly while also having a little fun in the process.
