Egg Knock is a children’s app from developer Hompimplay. It’s not really game that they play. It’s really more of an interactive detraction that is for very small children. By small children, I don’t mean those who can talk and are already learning their ABC’s and 123’s. I’m talking much younger than that. You see, Egg Knock doesn’t really do much of anything. All kids need to do in the game is tap on the egg several to crack it and then a random baby animal pops out of it that dances to classic children’s melodies. That’s it.

There are 7 different animals that can pop out of the egg and each does a different dance with different music. That’s it. Kids will enjoy this for a little bit and if they like repetitiveness. However, the app is very limited and eventually, they’ll get bored of it because there is actually very little to do in it. You can only break the egg, you can’t interact with any of the animals.

Egg Knock is an okay app for little kids to keep them occupied. However, older kids will get bored of this game really quickly as there is very little to do in this app after initially seeing all 7 animals. If the app were free, I’d say get it if you need something to occupy small children, but since it’s not, I don’t think it’s worth the price of admission.
