Case-mate rPet Recycled Plastic Case for iPhone 5 Review

If you’re looking for an iPhone 5 case that is environmentally friendly, why not consider Case-mate’s new line of rPet cases. These cases are made from 100% post-consumer recycled plastics, but that doesn’t make them any less attractive. In fact, the rPet cases come in a wide variety of different colors that should appeal to almost any user. The rPet cases are basically translucent snap on shell cases that will help protect your iPhone 5 while allowing the natural look of the phone to show through.

Installation is a breeze. Like other protective shells, you just snap this one in place. It will protect the rear of the iPhone as well as the sides, but not the top and bottom edges of the screen. Most people I think generally buy these type of cases however because they are super thin and don’t add much bulk, but still add a bit of protection to the iPhone. It’s not much, but at least it will protect the back of your phone from scratches and light drops as well as the corners. These cases are great for those people who don’t like the look of cases, but want something that still shows off the phone. If you get the clear version of this case, you can’t even tell you have it on.
