Trivia buffs and geniuses listen up, your next must download app is QuizUp, a social trivia game with over 150,000 questions and 250 topics. QuizUp has you going head to head against friends or random opponents to determine who is the most knowledgeable on a given topic. Topics range from logos to pop culture references with the ability to also contribute your own topics and questions to be considered for addition into the game.
In order to play QuizUp, you will need to either log in with your Facebook account, or set up a login using your email address. From there, you can begin playing. Choose any of the topics from the giant list to begin a new game and you’ll be paired up against an opponent automatically. You’ll go head to head against them. each answering the same exact questions. The faster you answer, the more points you get. After 7 rounds, points are tallied up to see who the winner is.
What I like though is that if you connect with Facebook, you’re able to send challenges to your friends who are also playing. Even better, neither of you have to be on at the same time to challenge each other. After each person takes their turn, a winner will be determined. You’re free to also send rematches or just start another new match of a different topic.
QuizUp is one of the best trivia apps I’ve played in w while. It’s fun competing against friends and what I like is that matches don’t take very long at all. This allows you to play quick matches if you just want to take a break from work or something. It’s also great that you don’t have to both be online at once and can play your friends on your own times. Not only that, the app itself looks great and is easy to navigate and play which is a huge plus. Overall, I say if you are into trivia, definitely get this game.
