Atomic Fusion: Particle Collider – Who Knew Being a Physicists Could Be So Fun (iOS App Review)

atomicfusion_iconIf you’re looking for a fun game that has a really unique theme, you may want to check out Atomic Fusion: Particle Collider. For starters, the object of the game is to control an atom and create every single element on the Periodic Table. It may not sound like much at first, but Bytesized Studios has found a way to make such a boring subject that most people don’t even care about, fun and exciting.

This game is really less about learning and more about fast-paced action and quick reflexes. Yes, you can learn a bit about elements and their place on the Periodic Table, but mainly its about manipulating your atom with positive and negative energy while collecting electrons in order to create new elements. The goal is to ultimately create all 118 known elements as well as unknown elements passed this.

If of course you could care less about the scientific nature of this game, you’ll at least be happy to know that the game is very fun to play and quite enjoyable and challenging. The game is simple to control with mainly your thumbs doing all the work. You move your atom around with one thumb while your other thumb or finger taps on the screen to change from positive to negative energies. You will need to do this to survive waves of energy. If you don’t match up the proper positive and negative energies, your atom will become unstable and ultimately explode.

Atomic Fusion: Particle Collider is a really unique game. I don’t think there’s anything like it in the App Store that you can really compare it too, and that’s a good thing. Even if you’re not a fan of physics, chemistry, or “learning,” it’s a game that everyone can enjoy. It’s a quick reaction game for those who want to work on their hand-eye coordination but also a learning experience for the science nerd in us. Overall, a very fun game for those who want something different.

SCIENTISTS! Journey through quantum space and fuse the elements in this retro- inspired arcade game for iOS!

The game is FUSION.

Your Role: Quantum Physicist

Your Goal: Create all the known elements of the periodic table by absorbing and manipulating matter, antimatter, plasma waves, and photons.

More Details:
Arm yourself with the sheer power of Photons. Amass this energy to release stronger reactions to
support your journey into the void. But beware! The boundaries of Quantum Space is unknown…there is sure to be mysterious matter that is yet to be discovered.

Key Features

•An enormous quantum playground: 118 elements to fuse
•Become a legend: First Physicist to discover Elements 119 and beyond gets to name them
•Built for competitive Physicists: Place your name in the global leaderboards and earn some bragging rights
•Controls to fit every play style: 3 control schemes to suit right-handed and left-handed players – including the (lucky) ambidextrous
•Achievements Galore: Unlock all the secrets of the (in-game) universe!
