Indie developer 10tons will be releasing their remake of Crimsonland today on the PlayStation 4. Crimsonland was the first game the studio ever created, back in 2003. The update include brand new, HD graphics, new content, and gameplay enhancements. Crimsonland is a top-down shooter featuring waves and waves of zombies and giant spiders with tons of weapons to unlock and use.

Crimsonland will cost $13.99 when released but will be discounted for PS Plus members. Players who buy this now will be happy to note that that when the game is released for PS Vita later this year, it will be a cross-buy title so you’ll automatically be able to download that for free.

Tampere, Finland, July 15th 2014 – Finnish game developer 10tons has announced that the top-down arena shooter Crimsonland launches this week for PS4 on PSN. The list price for Crimsonland is 13.99 USD or 9.99 EUR. A launch sale campaign is ongoing in SCEA region.

Crimsonland is a splatter-heavy top-down shooter. The player must fight an incredibly intense onslaught of zombies, giant spiders and more with an arsenal of powerful weapons, devastating powerups and role-playing game like perks. The game features local co-op game modes for up to four players.
