Sony today announced on their Twitter account (and very early in the morning oddly) that support for both the Maps app and Youtube app will be ending after the next PS Vita software update. I don’t find support for Maps ending very surprising seeing as most PS Vita systems sold these days are Wi-Fi and not the 3G version. Ending Youtube support however is a little surprising, though I can admit that I use neither of these apps on my PS Vita. All I use my PS Vita for is gaming. Everything else I can do on my smartphone.
Support for YouTube and Maps apps on PS Vita is ending. More info below. Maps: https://t.co/G0Ornijx7y YouTube: https://t.co/rmb2nBm1Un
