South Park – The Fractured But Whole is a game I’ve been looking forward to since it was first announced. I used to watch a lot of South Park back in the days and even played the original game, South Park – Stick of Truth. While it’s true that I think the South Park franchise in general honestly portrays what real kids do (make believe, curse like sailors, go on adventures), it’s not something I would ever let me kids actually watch or play, even though I’m sure they do half the things the kids in South Park do. I didn’t let my kids play or watch me play Stick of Truth and I’m not going to let them play or watch me play Fractured But Whole either.
With that said, I’m still going to play the hell out of it.
As stated by the title, when you buy South Park – The Fractured But Whole, you’ll also get the original game, Stick of Truth for free which means that for all those players who didn’t get to check out the game on last gen platforms, you’ll be able to play it on current gen. I’m totally down with playing Stick of Truth again on the PS4.
All pre-orders will also receive an exclusive in-game assistant, Towelie: Your Gaming Bud. The streets of South Park aren’t as safe as they used to be, and even the most seasoned South Park veteran will need help navigating the dark streets. Towelie: Your Gaming Bud provides unique assistance to players at key locations throughout the game.
South Park: The Fractured But Whole will be available for Xbox One, PlayStation 4 and Windows PC on December 6.
