Remember when old meme, “but can it run Crysis?” This was due to the fact that in 2007, Crysis has some insane system requirements on PC for it to run correctly. Over the years, it was finally able to run on other platforms and not just on PC. We’ve seen it on everything from the PS3, Xbox 360, PS4, and now it’s coming to Nintendo Switch.
Crytek, in partnership with Saber Interactive, is bringing Crysis Remastered to the Nintendo Switch. This is the same team that was able to miraculously bring The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt to the same platform. This new trailer showcases the technology used to bring this title to life on Switch.
Take a look at the game’s signature groundbreaking visuals, destructible open sandbox world, and adaptive gameplay on a brand-new platform. Vegetation bending, upgraded textures, depth of field and motion blur, enhanced dynamic lighting, global illumination (SVOGI), gyro aiming, and even sharks are all packed into Crytek’s debut game on Switch.
Crysis Remastered is coming to Nintendo Switch on July 23, 2020. Pre-order it now for $29.99 on the Nintendo eShop.
