Best Indie Games on PC Game Pass

I’ve been checking out Microsoft’s PC Game Pass after grabbing the 3-months for $1 deal and I have to say, there’s actually a lot of games you can consume for such a little amount of money. Of course, I know most of you will probably head for the big-name titles first, there are actually some really good indie games you should not miss that are on here. Here are our top 5 indie games that we found that you should definitely check out.

Carrion

CARRION

CARRION is a reverse horror game in which you assume the role of an amorphous creature of unknown origin. Stalk and consume those that imprisoned you to spread fear and panic throughout the facility. Grow and evolve as you tear down this prison and acquire more and more devastating abilities on the path to retribution.

Curse of the Dead Gods

CURSE OF THE DEAD GODS

You seek untold riches, eternal life, divine powers – it leads to this accursed temple, a seemingly-infinite labyrinth of bottomless pits, deadly traps, and monsters.

Your greed will lead you to death, but that is not an escape. Rise to fight again. Delve deeper again. Defy the malignant deities that linger in this place. Battle through hordes of enemies in dark, cavernous passages filled with traps and secrets of all sorts – fire-spewing statues, explosives, hidden spikes, and worse.

Collect mystical Relics and an arsenal of weapons to make yourself unstoppable. Corruption builds in you with every step – encourage or ignore it, but each powerful curse can be a double-edged sword.

Dead Cells

DEAD CELLS

Explore a vast, ever-changing island filled with secrets, branching paths and challenging foes. Silky smooth controls, fast paced combat and undeniably enjoyable game-feel make each run more addictive than the next as you progressively unlock permanent upgrades. Multiple difficulty modifiers will help you find the challenge that’s right for you as you discover the characters and lore of the island.

lonely mountains: downhill

LONELY MOUNTAINS: DOWNHILL

Just you and your bike – take it on a thrilling ride down an unspoiled mountain landscape. Make your way through thick forests, narrow trails and wild rivers. Race, jump, slide and try not to crash – all the way from the peak to the valley!

SUPERLIMINAL

SUPERLIMINAL

Falling asleep at 3AM, you close your eyes to the cheesy commercial of Dr. Pierce’s dream therapy program. You wake up in an unfamiliar environment, only to realize that you’re stuck in a dream – a dream where perception is reality. Welcome to Superliminal.

Superliminal is a first-person puzzle game inspired perspective and optical illusions. Players tackle impossible puzzles by thinking outside the box and learning to expect the unexpected.

This game features a wonderfully subdued world, an intriguingly voiced narrative, and things that are really weird.

Those are our top 5 picks. There are others that would be worth mentioning as well, but these are five that I think are a must-play.
