Brought to you by Curve Games and Skyhook Games, Lawn Moving Simulator is a game you probably would have never imagined would become a game. Though not surprising seeing as there’s a simulator for everything now, Lawn Mowing Simulator takes one of our least favorite tasks and brings it to the virtual world. While there might be some out there who love taking care of their lawns, I’d estimate a guess that a majority of you hate it. But that’s why lawn mowing services exist and that’s exactly what you’ll be playing as here. You’ll be tasked with starting up your own lawn mowing service and maintaining the yards of those in the Great British countryside.
The meat of the game lies in Career Mode. Here is where you’ll start your own business, buy the equipment that you need, hire workers to help you, and manage your income. You’ll take on simple jobs at first and smaller lawns but as you progress they’ll get larger and more complex. You’ll be able to purchase and use real-life equipment from manufacturers like Toro, SCAG, and STIGA such as ride-on mowers and string trimmers. If you know nothing about how to mow or the best ways to do it, you can also practice in Freeplay Mode or follow the handy tutorial.
Aside from Career Mode and Freeplay, there’s also Challenge Mode that consists of three different challenges at three different skill levels. There’s Time Limit, Fuel Limit, and Striping.

For the most part, as a simulator, Lawn Moving Simulator is actually fairly realistic. The sounds of the mowers are spot on and the feeling of cutting grass even feels real. All that’s missing is the smell of freshly cut grass and bugs flying in your face. Let’s also mention the fact that you won’t be sweating your butt off.
So is Lawn Mowing Simulator right for you? I’d say, if you actually love the excitement of cutting the grass but not the physicality of it or smelling like a sweaty pile of garbage after, then this is definitely the game for you. It’s pretty accurate and career mode makes it interesting. On the other hand, if you despise cutting the grass, you’re not going to love doing it virtually either.
