PlayStation Plus Being Revamped in June – New Tiers and Services

PlayStation Plus

The PlayStation Plus service you know and love is being revamped starting June 2022. Instead of just one overall service, there will now be three distinct tiers, each with its own unique features. For those who are happy with the way things are, you need not do anything and you’re subscription will just transfer over to the new PlayStation Plus Essential subscription, which sees no changes from the current features, aside from just having 2 free games instead of 3-4 games.

      • Two monthly downloadable games
      • Exclusive discounts
      • Cloud storage for saved games
      • Online multiplayer access
    • There are no changes for existing PlayStation Plus members in this tier.
