We live in strange times right now. If you’re like me, you’re most likely working from home now or have children who are taking part in distance learning. Either of these scenarios means you’re most likely to upgrade your home workspace and are looking for accessories to complete it. One such accessory might be the Oakywood 2-in-1 Headphone Stand and Wireless Charger. This is the perfect addition to your workspace as it fulfills two needs – charging your phone and having a place to store your headphones.

To make things simple for us, we’ll be referring to this as the Oakywood 2-in-1 Stand and Charger. First up, why do you need a headphone stand? Well, with so many people working at home remotely now or kids distance learning, headphone and headset usage is on the rise and we all need a place to put them when not in use. Hanging them is the best solution as it doesn’t take up valuable desktop space you might need to work on.

Secondly, the fact that this also includes a built-in wireless charger means you can just place your phone down on the wooden charging pad and just leave it there to charge while not in use. This is much better than looking for a cable to plug into each time and this is no different than you just leaving your phone on the table. At least this way, your phone gets a bit of juice while it’s sitting there.

The Oakywood 2-in-1 Stand and Charger, like other Oakywood products, is made from a solid piece of wood in either walnut or oak. Embedded in the base is a 10W wireless charger and rounding out the hardware is a stainless steel base and stand. The stand is very thick and sturdy and so is the wireless charging base. Both combine to form a beautifully crafted piece of tech.

You will need to plug the charger in with the included micro-USB cable and that’s basically it.

This is a very attractive addition to your workspace and the combination of wood and metal gives the Oakywood 2-in-1 Stand and Charger an elegant, classy look. Before I received this, I didn’t even know I needed it, but now I can’t even imagine not having it. Being able to hang your headset is very useful along with a means of easily charging your phone.

With that said, Oakywood definitely has my attention now with their products and if I need any more accessories for my workspace, I’ll be giving them a quick look again.
