Review: Toy Story 3 Memory Match v1.0.0 (iOS)

Since today is the release of the Toy Story 3 movie on DVD and Blu-ray, we thought we’d do a review of the Toy Story Memory Match game on the iPhone. This is a free ad sponsored game that is made in part with Toys R Us. Sure it might be heavy on the Toys R Us advertising and features the familiar Toys R Us jingle but as a free game it’s pretty fun for kids.

Toy Story 3 Memory Match as you might guess is a basic matching game where you just flip over cards and try to match pairs of identical images. It’s not difficult at all but is really targeted towards young children.

There really isn’t much to say about Toy Stroy 3 Memory Match since the game is pretty basic and is just a classic memory match game. There is only 1 level of difficulty but it’s not very hard at all. Children should enjoy it because of the Toy Story 3 theme and as a free game, it’s really not all that bad. Because this is really an ad based game for the Toy Story 3 movie, you’ll most likely have to go out and buy the movie for your kids which isn’t so bad since you know you were going to buy it for them already anyways. All-in-all, it’s a pretty decent cross promotional game that your kids should enjoy.

Toy Story 3 Memory Match is available now in the App Store for free.

Rating: B

It’s easy. Tap to flip two cards. Match a pair and they disappear. But flip quickly … the clock is ticking. Play in un-timed or challenge mode, and win free Toy Story 3 wallpapers for beating the clock.

A game for kids, but you grown-ups may find yourselves struggling to beat your kids’ times in matching all the pairs.
