Tetro Mania is a puzzle game from developer Thaibro. Using familiar Tetris shapes, you are tasked with using these shapes to fill up a given area that is presented to you. There are already quite a few games in the App Store that are similar to this, but Tetro Mania tries to differentiate itself by allowing you to rotate the pieces as well as trying to provide more of a challenge then most games in this genre.

Controls in the game are simple enough. Just drag the shape you want to use into the area you want to place it. To rotate, keep the finger you are using to drag the piece with on the piece and use a second finger to swipe up or down to rotate. When you have where you want it, just let go. Easy. The first few levels in the game are tutorial levels so after completing those, you’ll have no problems jumping right into the game.

Graphically, the game is very simple. Just your standard two-dimensional Tetris like pieces and a flat play area. It’s nothing that is going to make you go wow, but for simplicity sake, it works well in the game since it’s not really necessary to the gameplay.

Tetro Mania is fairly good puzzle game in its genre. You really can’t go wrong if you choose to buy this game as it provides solid gameplay and is pretty challenging after you beat the first 15 levels or so which are mainly there really just to get you used to the controls and the game. As with most puzzle games, the challenge is based on how good you are at these type of games. Some people might find it really challenging while other might find it a bit easy. Again, it all depends on how good you are at these games.
